learning

I believe that children growth benefit from going to school. Children get more physical activity at school than they get at home. Playing is a way to cut down on obesity and future health problems for children. Children learn in different ways. Some may learn through observation, hands on, or by just listening. I believe that I learn through both visual and hands on. If I can see how to do it, then I can do anything. Right now I am teaching my son and daughter how to drive. My daughter is 14 and my son is 17. I am teaching them through observation, listening, and hands on. I take them on a back road and let them take turn driving. The 14 year old can drive better than the 17 year old. You did not hear that from me!

  1. Do you think your 17 year old has a different learning style? Maybe your daughter does better with the listening and hands on and your son would do better with a book. Or maybe she'll just be a better driver!!

  2. I do think children benefit from school however I don't think the teachers do exactly what they are suppose to. The exercise for example, I've seen teachers punish a roudy group of kids by not letting them outside. Or if the children don't have time to get all there classwork done then they can't play. I think school does benefit children a lot, but sometimes I think the teachers interfere with all the perks. I guess if that makes sense.
